Founded in the heart of Lewes, Delaware, Coastal Sprouts is a veteran-owned microgreens farm inspired by the ocean, fueled by the sun, and rooted in the power of nature. Our mission is simple: grow food that heals, energizes, and supports long-term health — one sprout at a time.

Microgreens
Our beachside roots shape everything we do — from the sunny tones of our packaging to the fresh, clean ingredients we grow. From nutrient-packed microgreens to sustainable vermicomposting to seasonal porch décor, each branch of our business works together to nourish, recycle, and beautify our community. We’re not just a farm — we’re a movement for better food, better living, and a better planet.
Composting
We grow premium microgreens using organic practices and sustainable methods — all without pesticides or harmful chemicals. And we don’t just stop at growing clean… we close the loop. Through our sister project, Sgt. Dirt’s Worm Farm, we vermicompost all spent grow medium — transforming plant waste into rich worm castings and keeping it out of landfills. It’s part of our commitment to zero-waste farming and a minimal carbon footprint.
Coastal Sprouts in Bloom
Our third division, Coastal Sprouts in Bloom, brings beauty and creativity right to your doorstep. We design and deliver custom seasonal planters, porch décor, and unique outdoor arrangements for homes and businesses across Sussex County. From festive holiday displays to vibrant spring blooms, we make it easy to keep your space welcoming and full of life — without the hassle. By incorporating compost and sustainable practices, we bring together style, flavor, and eco-friendliness to every planter we create.

Coastal Sprouts is proud to partner with assisted living facilities, wellness coaches, and health-minded families across Sussex County. We create special microgreen blends tailored for heart health, brain support, digestion, and energy — perfect for all ages, especially seniors.
